Ambar Mundial is a multicategory beauty pageant founded in 1970s according the organizers.

The current Miss Ambar Mundial is Isabela Gasparotto from Puerto Rico, Miss Angelica Gonzalez. The Contest was founded in the 70s by a group of young entrepreneurs and the franchise became the property of Gatsby Dominicana in 1994, a company Founded and chaired by Mrs. Nerys Díaz who in turn is the President of the Organizing Committee of the contest. falling on her the most important decisions about the organization of the event each year. and the sister contest, Mini World.

HISTORY

Miss Ambar Mundial is a beauty pageant that is celebrated annually and that honors the most important stone of the Dominican Republic, El Ambar, judging the integral beauty, elegance, personality, communication and projection of the candidates from different countries on 5 continents!

The Contest was founded in the 70s by a group of young entrepreneurs and the franchise became the property of Gatsby Dominicana in 1994, a company Founded and chaired by Mrs. Nerys Díaz who in turn is the President of the Organizing Committee of the contest.

The titleholder elected each year has the opportunity to wear to the world a spectacular crown made by the best artisans of the Dominican Republic in authentic amber stones donated by the Mundo del Ambar Museum and beautiful Austrian crystals that enhance the beauty of the crown with their combination.

In 2018, the organization added a Mister and Mrs divisions.

PAGEANT

Each contestant uniquely represents her home nation. The candidates competing for the title are between 18 and 26 years old and hold a wide schedule of activities in the host country for a week.
