Miss Teen Volunteer America is an annual scholarship pageant that is open to women from the United States between the ages of 13 and 17. It was founded in 2020 by Allison Alderson DeMarcus. It’s the sister pageant of Miss Volunteer America.
The current Miss Teen Volunteer America is Ellie Schmidt of Washington, crowned on April 30, 2022 in Jackson, TN, USA.
HISTORY
The Miss Teen Volunteer America is a nationwide, service-oriented scholarship program based in Tennessee that seeks to empower young women across the country through educational scholarships and extraordinary opportunities. This pageant was fonded by Allison Alderson DeMarcus.
Each of the 5 points on the crown represent a principle in the organization’s mission. Together, the first letter of each of those five principles spells:
