Miss Hooters International

Miss Hooters International (initialy known as Miss Hooters International Swimsuit Pageant) is an annual beauty pageant held since 1997. 

 

The current Miss Hooters International is Madison Novo of Miami, crowned on June 23, 2022 at Harrah’s Lake Tahoe in Stateline, Nevada, USA.  

HISTORY

Miss Hooters International Swimsuit Pageant or Miss Hooters International is an annual beauty pageant held since 1997, created by the brand Hooters.  Hooters is the registered trademark used by two American restaurant chains: Hooters, Inc., based in Clearwater, Florida, and Hooters of America, Inc. based in Atlanta, Georgia, and owned by the private investment firm Nord Bay Capital (with TriArtisan Capital Advisor, as its advisor)

PAGEANT

The pageant is a swimsuit competition for Hooters Girls, who are the waitresses, hostesses, and female bartenders, and female managers at Hooters restaurants. Hooters Girls are primarily voluptuous young women, who wear a revealing uniform. Their sex appeal is played up and they are a primary component of the company’s image.

 

 20 Hooters Girls from around the country competed for the crown.

 

The candidates are evaluated on their responses to interview questions, their personality and their overall contribution to the iconic Hooters brand, as well as uniform and swimsuit rounds.
