Mister Universel France
Mister Universel France is a French male pageant founded in 2017 by Jérémy Joanes Edward and Benoît Drogue.
The current Mister Universel France is Pierre BONDON, Mister Universel Midi-Pyrénées, crowned on January 8, 2021 in Lyon, France.
HISTORY
Created in 2017, the Mister Universel France pageant is managed by the association Nos Belles Etoiles, specializing in the organization of fashion and beauty events since 2015.
The term « Universel » refers to the human values carried by the competition and to its international dimension.
Symbol of the modern man, Mister Universel France represents the French male youth in all that it has of more diverse and creative. Through the beauty pageant, the association Nos Belles Etoiles and its regional delegations support the economic, tourist and cultural activity of our territories.
According the organizers, far from outdated criteria and image one not very dusty sometimes conveyed by beauty pageant, Mister Universel France’s election wants to be the true reflection of its time.
PAGEANT
The contest is open to young man between 18 and 30 years old, and measuring 1m75 minimum.
All candidates is reunited for 5 days for a boot camp. On the program: rehearsals, interview, parades, shoots, video shoots, trials for the election show, general culture tests, but also visits and fun activities for unforgettable experiences.
The objective of this boot camp is also to probe the personality of the candidates, because Mister Universel France is not just a simple physics. Its values and its attitude must be up to representation missions that he will have everything throughout the year.
At the end of this week, the committee national pre-selects 9 candidates finalists, who will be revealed on the evening of the official election. The 10th finalist candidate will be chosen by the public.
