Mister Supranational
Mister Supranational is an international male beauty contest founded by World Beauty Association, based in Panama in 2016. It’s the brother version of Miss Supranational.
The current Mister Supranational is Luis Daniel Galvez from Cuba, crowned on July 16, 2022 in Małopolska, Poland.
HISTORY
Mister Supranational is managed by the World Beauty Association S.A., which was founded in 2009 in Panama. The first World Beauty Association president was Tryny Marcela Yandar Lobón, with Gerhard Parzutka von Lipinski from Poland as executive producer, and president of the production company Nowa Scena.
Parzutka von Lipinski has been referred to as the President of World Beauty Association SA since at least 2017.
Mister Supranational also began in 2016, in Krynica-Zdrój, Poland.
Mister Supranational aims to revolutionize the industry, being the first competition of this nature to have a super modern and high fashion television production.
The idea is to discover new talent for the modeling and television industries and to produce instant celebrities.
The World Beauty Association, based in Hong Kong, organized a rival Miss Supranational 2014 pageant in India which could not be held in person due to responses to the West African Ebola virus epidemic. It crowned one candidate, Jennifer Poleo of Venezuela, remotely, and without runners-up, and did not hold any subsequent contests.
The Mister Supranational 2020 contests was postponed to 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with Nate Crnkovich from the United States to retain his respective titles until the election of 2021.
PAGEANT
National franchises have a lot of latitude in choosing candidates for Mister Supranational. Some are the winners of individual contests for their Mister Supranational, others get the honor by winning first or second runner-up from contests for candidates to multiple international pageants, and yet others are chosen in different ways.
In 2021, the organization launched Supra Star Search, a virtual competition for men who want to compete for the Miss or Mister Supranational titles in countries with no national organizations
