Mister Global
Mister Global, is an annual men’s beauty contest that has been held in Thailand since it was founded in 2014.
The current Mister Global is Danh Chieu Linh of Vietnam, officially announced as the new Mister Global 2021 replacing Spain’s Miguel Ángel Lucas Carrasco during a press conference, held on September 5, 2022, at Sofitel Saigon Plaza in Ho Chi Minh City.
HISTORY
The Mister Global pageant is a male pageant have been founded in 2014 by Pradit Pradinunt.
The first edition of Mister Global was held in the city of Pak Chong – located some 170 kilometers (105 miles) to the northeast of Bangkok – with 16 participants. Myanmar’s Myat Thuya Lwin emerged as the champion of that event.
Mister Global Pageant is considered part of the “Grand Slam” of international male pageants, along with Mr World, Mister International, Mister Supranational and Manhunt International. It is owned and organized by the Mister Global Company Limited.
PAGEANT
Since its first edition, more than 60 countries have sent their representatives to this competition. Mister Global Company Limited licenses local organizations that wish to select the Mister Global National Contestants for their country, and approves the selection method for national contestants.
Traditionally, Mister Global lives in Thailand during his reign.
