Galaxy Pageants

Galaxy pageants is open only to genetic female. The competition are different age divisions : 

• Miss Galaxy
  • Ages 20-27
  • Must be unmarried as of the start date
    of the pageant event.

• Miss Teen Galaxy
  
  • Ages 16-19.
  • Must be single and never married as of the start date of the pageant event.
  • Must not have ever had a child.
  • Must remain unmarried during her reign as a state titleholder and as the international titleholder. If a Teen is engaged to be married during her reign as Miss Teen Galaxy, she will be disqualified.
  • Must be at least 16 and no older than 19 as of the start date of the Miss Teen Galaxy international pageant event.

• Mrs. Galaxy
  • Ages 21 & Over.
  • Must be legally married as of the start date of the pageant event.
  • May not be separated or in process of divorce. Please know that the organization makes no distinction between marriage to a man or a woman. You must simply be legally married.

• Ms. Galaxy
  • Ages 28 & Up. Must be unmarried as of the start date of the pageant event (may be divorced, widowed, single
    mother).
  • Also, must not become married during her reign. If you are in the process of getting married, please inform Galaxy Pageants, Inc. of marriage date prior to competing for consideration.

The pageants run always during the summer in United States since its beginning.

The areas of competition include Photogenic, Private Interview, Fashion, Swimsuit, and Evening Gown.

Interview – 25% (35% for Teen)

Galaxy International Pageant® titleholders must be articulate with excellent social and conversational skills. Titleholders must be able to express themselves clearly, diplomatically, and must project a pleasant personality at all times. Interviews are conducted panel style for a duration of 5 minutes. Focuses primarily on delegates’ personal information (e.g., hobbies, ambition, etc.) but may include opinion questions that require general knowledge of social and current events.

Judging criteria: conversational skill, personality, demeanor, beauty, grooming, and fashion sense.

Swimswear – 20% 

We truly believe in body confidence, no matter your size. However, titleholders should have good body proportion and choose a suit that flatters your shape & figure. The Swimsuit may have cut-outs, mesh, and/or embellishments. Swimsuits must be in good taste – No thongs allowed! Galaxy titleholders must carry themselves with confidence and grace. Delegates may choose a 1-piece or 2-piece.

Since 2021, no swimsuit competitions for the Teen category.

Judging criteria: fitness, modeling, personality, beauty, grooming and fashion sense.

Fashionwear – 20% (25% for Teen)

Galaxy International Pageant® titleholders must be able to project their own personal sense of style. This segment will be conducted very much like a runway fashion show. Fashion attire can be anything the delegate feels represents a currently popular or stylish ensemble. Judges will be looking for high energy, spirit, and the delegate’s sense of contemporary style for today’s woman. Judges are not looking for a specific style or designer label but rather how well the attire suits the delegate (e.g., fit, color, style) as well as delegate’s on-stage presentation.

Judging criteria: conversational skill, personality, demeanor, beauty, grooming, and fashion sense.

Evening Gown – 20% (25% for Teen)

Galaxy International Pageant® titleholders must carry themselves with dignity, grace, poise and elegance. Judges will not be evaluating the cost or designer label of the gown, but rather how well it suits the delegate (e.g., fit, color, style) as well as delegate’s on-stage presentation.

* Evening gown must be floor length. Teens are permitted to wear sophisticated, beaded gowns.

Judging criteria: modeling, on-stage presence, beauty, poise, elegrance and charm.

Photogenic – 15%

Galaxy Pageants relies heavily upon international advertising in industry publications and the internet to promote the Galaxy International Pageant®. Therefore, titleholders must possess photogenic appeal and ability to project an image consistent with beauty and elegance. * Airbrushing should be kept to a minimum. You should look like your photo.

Judging criteria: photogenic appeal, photo quality and clarity, beauty of face, personality, grooming and fashion sense.

BONUS POINTS

Delegates can add up to 10 bonus points to their overall score. You must first make 5 appearances before bonus points go into effect. After 5 appearances, a point will be given to the delegate when an appearance is made with supporting pictures. Delegate must have their sash on in the photo to be accepted as an appearance (crown is optional, but highly recommended!). The Director has the right to refuse any appearance.
