Reina Internacional del Cacao

Reina Internacional del Cacao is an international beauty pageant, founded by Leudys González in 2019.

 

The current Reina Internacional del Cacao is Laura Aguilar from Ecuador. She was crowned on March 30, 2022 in Panama.

HISTORY

Reina Internacional del Cacao is founded by Leudys González in 2019. The inaugural pageant was held on October 3, 2019 in Caracas, Venezuela. Amanda Costa of Brazil was crowned the first Reina Internacional del Cacao.  

 

The aim of this pageant is to promote the global cacao and chocolate industry.

 

In 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the organization held a virtual edition of this pageant. The winner won the title of Reina Internacional del Chocolate, and not the crown of Reina Internacional del Cacao. 

 

In 2022, after a one-year hiatus due to the pandemic, the competition returned in real and delivered the two titles in the final.

PAGEANT

The competition is open to young women whose countries are the actors of the chocolate and cacao market.

 

The delegate are judged on some criteria: 

   – Interview

   – National Costume 

   – Parades
