Miss ASEAN Friendship is an ASEAN beauty pageant, created in 2017 to mark the 50th ASEAN founding anniversary.

 

The Miss ASEAN Friendship is Nuttanan Naree from Thailand, crowned on July 1, 2017 at the Sao Mai theatre, Tuy Hoà, Vietnam.

HISTORY

Miss ASEAN Friendship is a beauty pageant created in 2017 to mark the 50th ASEAN founding anniversary.

 

At the end of this final, Nuttanan NAREE was crowned Miss ASEAN Friendship 2017. The contest was held on July 1, 2017 at the Sao Mai theatre, Tuy Hoà, Vietnam.

 

The Miss Friendship of ASEAN 2017 took place in the south central province of Phu Yen from June 15 to July 1 to seek a face representing the spirit of solidarity and friendship among the bloc members.

 

The contest aims to honour the beauty of Southeast Asian women and is going to be a platform for exchange of culture, with the purpose to increase cooperation among countries in the bloc, promote trade, tourism.

PAGEANT

Each ASEAN member country will have 1-2 contestants at the contest.The host country will select three representatives.

 

The final round of the contest included community and charity activities, trips to explore the beauty of Phu Yen and swimsuit and evening gown parades.
