Miss Asia Global
Miss Asia Global, initially known as Miss Asia, is an international beauty pageant, founded in 2015 by Ajit Ravi Pegasus, CEO of Pegasus Global.
The current Miss Asia Global is Sara Damnjanovic from Serbia, crowned on December 27, 2019 at Gokulam Convention Centre, Kochi, India.
HISTORY
Miss Asia Global is an international beauty pageant created in 2015 by Ajit Ravi, owner of Pegasus Global. The first four laureates received the sash from Miss Asia. For reasons of homonomy, the contest took the name of Miss Asia Global during its fifth edition.
Miss Asia Global is an event that brings together every corner of the Globe to showcase to the world not only the beauty but also the talent and the confidence of women in the Globe.
The aim of the pageant is to bring out and appreciate the genuine beauty and inherent talents of young Women.At the beginning, the competition was looking the most beautiful and talented women from the Asian region. Then, in 2016, the contest hopes to find the most beautiful and talented women from the Asian and Eurasian region, before becoming an international competition in 2017.
Miss Asia Global along with Miss South India, and Miss Queen of India which are conceptualised by Ajit Ravi.
PAGEANT
The competition is open to young women aged 18 to 25 with a minimum height of 1m67.
Pegasus are the only beauty pageants in the country which does not judge a women’s beauty with a bikini or other similar rounds.
Two titles are awarded during the final since 2017. The Miss Asia Global title awarded to the winner from the Asian region and the Miss Asia title awarded to the winner from the rest of the world.
