Miss Arab Universe is It is a sister company to the Miss Arab USA pageant. This contest started as Miss Arab Europe, before going international. It was founded by Mr Ashraf Elgamal, owner of The Arab American Organization (AAO).

The Annual Miss Arab Pageant is founded on the basis of advancing the cause for young ladies of Arab descent.

The focus advocacy of the pageant is to promote humanitarianism throughout the community and improve the well-being of others around the globe while also cultivating young women into inspirational leaders. According the fouder, « our reasons to create the Miss Arab Pageants, it’s to educate the public that Arabs are not all Muslims and being a Muslim is not make you an Arab. Arab could have any faith other than Islam, and Muslims could be a citizen of any country worldwide. »

The Pageant is a charity event for the community, uniting Arabs and friends of Arabs in celebrating the Arab cultural heritage all over the world.

The pageant is a fundraising event that is just one out of many existing development events that the AAO embarks on. The AAO takes Pageantry to the next level for young Arab women by grooming Arab Queens as great Ambassadors for humanity.

The pageant redefines the image of the Arab woman as a leader and a vital partner in the development of the world.

This is a non-political platform for young ladies to achieve personal growth and development, take pride in their heritage, discover their inner beauty in achieving their humanitarian goals in life and lay a strong foundation as leaders of the future.
